Nuwara Eliya Road Races

Damien Gunatillake, Sunil Wanniarachchi, Anil Perera, the most experienced riders and Mahes Perera, Anil Jayakody and Upul Serasinghe, thrilled over 25,000 spectators with their superb driving and riding skills at the Nuwara Eliya Road Races conducted by the
Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club in collaboration with the Nuwara Eliya Motor Racing Club on Sunday.
Mahes Perera who had specially come from UK for the Sri Lankan Motor events in the open event for motor cars speeding in the fourth lap had to leave the race due to mechanical problems in the engine.

Ajit Perera an experienced rider from Anuradhapura did extremely well to win several events in the motorcycle events
